The Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Co. LLC (MBCR) is soliciting proposals for “Solar Powered Dual Track Rail Lubricator Systems - Complete” in strict accordance with MBTA/MBCR specifications.

The Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Co. LLC (MBCR) is soliciting bids for Railroad Scrap Material  in strict accordance with MBCR specifications.

MBCR has the below quantities of railroad scrap materials for sale:

  • Approximately 300 gross tons of scrap rails
  • Approximately  150 gross tons of Other track Material (OTM),  track spikes plates, bars etc
  • Approximately  150 gross tons of switch material

Material will be available for pre-bid  viewing and inspection May 23,2013 @ 10:00 AM in Somerville, MA 

Proposal Due Date: Wednesday, June 11th , 2012 @ 2:00 PM, EST/EDST

To be included in our vendor list, please send a cover letter introducing  your company along with a corporate capability brochure.  These materials are then distributed to the appropriate in-house personnel.  The letter and brochure are also kept in the vendor library that MBCR maintains for future procurement opportunities.
